I've known of one blogger who copied my post to publish an article with a link to my blog. Because search engines completely ignored duplicate content I didn't receive any linkback. But when I found out about her post and told her to rewrite it with the same ideas, I got the linkback. Google especially is smarter than we know. Good luck on your new site.
