Tracking On My Own Domain

Q: I have no clue how this works. Is there somewhere that I can get an overview of the whole thing? For example I want to track the url above but I do not want to shorten it or change and I am not understanding how to do this. Can someone help me out please. It looks like I need to add something to my page source to track my site visitors.
A: Hi, That’s exactly right. Other than what is recorded in your logs if your host provides them you would need to use some type of script within your page source or use an external tracker such as those created by Your Ad Tracker.
YourAdTracker.com only provides external tracking links so I’m afraid it wont help with anything on your domain. There are sites out there that provide such a service but I’m not very familiar with any of them. I have tried StatCounter.com a couple of times and it seemed to work well plus I believe it’s free.

Hi Nick, that was actually a Frequently Asked Question but thanks for the comment. Google Analytics is great but can be very complicated. Those asking this question are having trouble figuring our program out which is much easier.
