Setting Up Your Ad Tracker Groups
Written by Brian D. Hawkins from http://hotblogtips.com/ on February 8th, 2009 | 4 CommentsSetting up tracking groups within your membership area is very simple and a great way to organize your tracking links. Once new groups are created trackers came be moved from one group to another. Trackers in indidual groups are displayed together.
Example:
For example, your groups could be setup like…
- Affiliate Links
- Banner Ads
- Blog posts
- Forum Posts
- PPC Ads
- Text Ads
- etc…
-or-
If, for example, your account will be used primarily for affiliate tracking it could go something like this…
- Amazon.com
- ClickBank
- Commission Junction
- Shareasale.com
- etc…
Those are jusr examples and you are free to setup your tracking groups anyway you choose.
Below is a quick 2 1/2 minute video tutorial on setting up and using your tracking groups. Let me know what you think by adding a comment below the video:

This is a great addition to an already great product. Now, when you do an update, is there a way you could add the ability to be able to move the links in groups to the selected group instead of having to do it one by one.
Thanks. This is a really nice feature. Something that I have wished for since becoming a member. Thanks for the gift.

Hi Janice, it’s been a long time. I’m glad you like the tracking groups. Later this summer I plan on completely revamping the system to include more stats and options.

I did not find the video very helpful.
Maybe I have signed up for the wrong service?
Let me check my understanding.
If I have an article, audio, video
Rss feed and classified ad and I want
to track the response to them, does your
service help me do that?
And, if so, I would have like to have
seen other examples or a second video
that directly addressed that need.
In other words, what do I do to setup
the system so I can quickly and easily
know where positive responses to my
marketing are occurring?
Thank You,
Jerry

Hi Jerry, I think this page might clarify things for you http://blog.youradtracker.com/?page_id=78
Our tracking links will count the clicks of any URL as long as it’s setup as a tracking link and you replace your original link with the tracking link when promoting the pages. It simply runs through our service, is recorded and then redirected to the original URL.
You are in your free trial period right now so if it’s not what you were looking for simply log into your PayPal account and cancel the payment subscription before the 30 day trial ends. That way you will won’t pay for something you don’t want.
Thanks, Brian
